- Right of citizenship fee
- $123
- Total

One fee, no separate right of citizenship fee.
- There is no separate fee to sit the citizenship test. It is part of the application process, and you are told when and where to take it.
- The right of citizenship fee is adjusted each year on March 31. It rose from $119.75 to $123 on March 31, 2026, and applications are charged the fee in force when you sign and send them.
- The processing fee is not refunded once IRCC starts processing. Read IRCC’s page for the exact refund rules before you pay.
- Language tests (such as CELPIP or IELTS) and document costs like police certificates are separate and are not included above.
Fees checked against IRCC’s fee list on October 20, 2026. Fees change, so confirm the amount on IRCC’s site before paying. IRCC fee list (official)
